Vadym Yunyk
Founder of RoGuard Systems
Vadym Yunyk is one of the founders of the drone movement in Ukraine. In 2025, he founded RoGuard Systems, a company that set itself the goal of creating and manufacturing high-precision weapons. He has been part of the Aerorozvidka (aerial reconnaissance) volunteer movement since 2014 and, from 2016 to 2021, served in the Ukrainian army. Under his leadership, the first strike drone R-18, known as Baba Yaga, was created in 2017, and has been officially used on the front lines since 2019. In 2019, he founded FRDM, a well-known manufacturer of drones (UAVs) and robotic platforms (UGVs).
