Roy Saar

General Partner at 40RTY Fund

Roy Saar is a General Partner and co-founder of the 40RTY venture capital fund, based in Tel Aviv (Israel); a Partner at Mangrove Capital Partners; an entrepreneur; and an investor in AI and defence tech ventures. Before entering venture capital in 2011, he operated as a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, selling a technology startup to the virtualisation company Parallels in 2007. At Mangrove, Saar directed early-stage investments across the European and Israeli ecosystems, contributing to a portfolio of eight unicorns including Skype, WalkMe, and Wix. Mr Saar currently leads 40RTY, a seed and pre-seed fund backed by Wix founders Avishai Abrahami and Nir Zohar, targeting artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital health startups.
