Rainer Saks
Member of the Management Board at Cybexer Technology
Rainer Saks works in the Estonian cyber defence technology company, Cybexer Technology, where he is a member of the Management Board. Prior to joining the private sector, Mr Saks was the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia from 2015 to 2020. In his public service career, Mr Saks worked as the Director General of the Estonian Information Board (currently the Foreign Intelligence Service), the Director of the Office of the President, and the National Security Coordinator in the Government Office. At the turn of the millennium, Mr Saks was an adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Mr Toomas Hendrik Ilves, who later became the president of the Republic. In addition to his job, Mr Saks writes daily reports about the Russian war against Ukraine since the beginning of the aggression, has joined the PractNet team, as an expert, and participates in an advising project in Moldova.
