Kristjan Prikk
Permanent Representative of Estonia to NATO
Kristjan Prikk assumed the post of Permanent Representative of Estonia to NATO in August 2026. Prior to that, he served as the Estonian Ambassador to the United States, his third posting to Washington. Earlier in his career, he held several other senior positions in national security, defence, and foreign policy across Estonian government institutions, with a particular focus on transatlantic relations, Baltic security, and whole-of-nation defence. Mr Prikk completed his conscript service in the Estonian Defence Forces in 2000–01 and is a reserve officer and member of Estonia's voluntary defence organisation, the Estonian Defence League (Kaitseliit). He holds a master's degree from the US Army War College's Strategic Studies Program (2013).
