John Andreas Olsen
Net Assessment Analyst at NATO Headquarters
Dr John Andreas Olsen is an active-serving colonel in the Royal Norwegian Air Force currently assigned to NATO Headquarters in Brussels. He is also a professor at the Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies, a non-resident senior fellow of the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies, a fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences, a member of the RUSI Journal editorial board, and an advisory board member of the Air University’s Æther: a Journal for Airpower and Spacepower. Dr Olsen has lectured in more than fifty countries worldwide, received several national and international awards and published a series of books on NATO and airpower.
