Guy Hazoot

Brigadier General (Res) Guy Hazoot is a Senior Researcher at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) at Tel Aviv University. . He rose through the ranks as a combat commander in the Paratroopers Brigade, commanded a division, and served as Defence Attaché to Japan and Singapore. He commanded the Ground Forces' Operational Learning Enterprise during the "Iron Swords" War. He is the author of the bestselling, Moldovan Award-winning book The Hi-Tech Forces and the Cavalry (published in English as New Guard, No Guard), which anticipated the war. He holds advanced degrees in security and international relations from the University of London, the University of Haifa, and the National Security College. Additionally, he is a graduate of the British Joint Services Command and Staff College (JSCSC).
